Back to The Institute. One Month Early.

What a great topic to write about my 100th Entry for my most long-lived blog yet. Tomorrow is the day that will break the hearts of many (actually, just incoming third year medical students of  The Institute). Would you believe in a summer vacation most desecrated by the likes of start of classes in the beginning of the month of May? No, 'tis not mere summer class, and, yes, a whole month earlier than the start of tortures of most hell holes.. It is the genuine beginning of a school year long of torment as a medical student once again not only with encumbering chapters of medical stuff, but with real actual 8-12hours of clinical experience. HOLY CRAP, I think I just metaphorically shit my pants.

Third year will be no walk in the park. Actually, neither was the first or second years. This year, each one's mind, will power, mental stamina, physical endurance, and what other terms that are meant to be toyed with will be put to the test. Maybe, baptized in fire for those totally unexposed to the medical world. I so still wanted that extra month to be away from the endless paragraphs of medical jargon which our half-asleep heads are only drooling on, from the sleepless night before exams where I have to recram everything back into this noggin which can only hold so much, another extra month worth of blogging, gaming, and hanging out. That said, I'll surely miss being able to blog frequently, though I don't even know how many reads my blog. As many would say, third year will be the worst year medical students in our school would have, and I surely won't be ready in time for tomorrow.

The situation is already FUBAR. I know it's only less than a day before text starts to chisel my brain again, tests to broil the nerves, and expectations to disappoint one's ego. But you know, it's also high time to get that old mindset of mine to live a happier life lodged up somewhere once again: Set your standards low, and do your very best.

Yosh! Have at ye, Third year!
